I created this site to further develop my own understanding of the various forms of meditation and pass on some of what I have learnt.
I was heavily involved with Martial Arts in my younger year, gaining black belts in Shotokan and Wado Ryu Karate. At this time, my understanding of meditative techniques and the positive effects of correct breathing was non-existent and it wasn’t until I moved onto practising more subtle art forms such Aikido and Tai Chi and physically feeling the benefits of energy that I started to explore the subject in greater depth.
I have also practised Hatha Yoga and at the same time began my journey into meditation. I felt that I was reasonably well grounded but it wasn’t until I started practising Kundalini Maha Yoga that I experienced how powerful meditation could be and the combination of using japa coupled with listening to the ‘Divine Sound’ to develop emotional, spiritual and physical awareness.
Hopefully, in the not too distant future, I plan to complete the First Degree Reiki course and continue my education and develop more understanding of the benefits of the using and utilising energy.
